We're off and running with "Faith Through the Ages". If you have an opportunity to pick up a copy of Owen Chadwick's book A History of Christianity, we're about half way through Chapter One.
Yesterday we discussed our Jewish background and Greco-Roman influence. Any "a-ha" moments so far? Mine was Chadwick's correlation of the pantheon of Greek & Roman gods with the early custom of patron saints.
